It is without question a very good restaurant, very tasty dishes and cocktails. You can now also pick up evening meals, it took a little longer than the competition, but I think it's great! What bothers me incredibly is that you can't even introduce card payments now! This is not up-to-date, has nothing to do with unnecessary costs (after all, there are very cheap and great providers for this too). The competitors and the smallest companies in the area have made it because they have recognized that, especially during the corona crisis, people prefer to pay by card. Not here. And that's not okay.

~~~HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!~~~ TIP: *Make reservation esp for weeknd evening* We didn't make a reservation, and the owner graciously let my party of two stay despite having a full guest list since we arrived before the rush and there was only two of us. We came on a Friday night and despite the pandemic and a slow tourist season the restaurant was one of the most visited in Langenargen. We were greeted by the owner. He and the wait staff were attentive, friendly, and prompt! We were pleasantly surprised with the prices of their menu compared to the other restaurants in the area. A short walk outside of the main town square, it may be easy to overlook this gem. Thanks to Google we found this place our last night here and we were far from disappointed. The menu was clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The food was adequately priced, which was surprising considering the 5-star ambiance. It always makes me to see 1) an owner who is involved and 2) menu prices that are realistic and not stupidly expensive.

Something is hidden in a fabric building, so not everyone knows it. Menu small, but very well cooked, everything fresh. Excellent!

We were there today and wanted to reserve a table for 7pm. The boss personally said that tables for outside can only be reserved at 6 or 8 p.m. When he saw our children (9 + 11), he said that there is still a beer garden back there. That was the end of this restaurant for us. We didn't feel welcome and therefore do not recommend it to others due to the (family) unfriendly nature.

Food mediocre. Dealing with allergies by the service is life-threatening in case of doubt. And the euphemistic behavior including the "funny" remark whether everyone is still alive is scandalous. Don't go!

Unfortunately, very child-unfriendly restaurant. When asked for a place to change nappies, I was fobbed off with an arrogant "no". When I asked where I could possibly wrap, I got a "nowhere". The waitress pointed out to us when ordering that we had to do it quickly, they didn't have time. As I left, I pointed out to the owner that hospitality was unfortunately not the top priority in his restaurant, and I was laughed at and shook my head.

Repeatedly very tasty food and attentive service. The menu does not only have the standard dishes as in many other restaurants. We would love to come back.

The meal was very tasty, the service was very attentive but not too intrusive. The service was super friendly. Particularly noteworthy is the nice service with black hair who can read every request from her lips with her customer-oriented manner.

Go was good 😊. I am here for the 3 time now. The first two times have been a while so I am reporting on this one. First of all, we made a reservation and still had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which is not that bad because we got a high table. The waitresses were very nice, a young man was very friendly 👌 and the owner. So the food was bomb at first I only wanted to give 3 stars in advance because of the dry bread, but we were all very satisfied with the main course and therefore 4 stars for nice wait staff and delicious food 😁.

Were there on 21.7.20. It was a quarter of an hour before the drink came and the meal 45 minutes later. I understand if the restaurant is full. The hut was half full. When the food was finally there, it was still the wrong one. Eating together at the table.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere nice. It didn't take too long either. There is a deduction for the chaotic "organization". The reservation did not work out, unfortunately all employees have chin masks for mouth and nose masks. In addition, card payments are not possible, which is actually standard in restaurants these days.

So bad, my wife and I had to wait for 20 minute before someone even gave us a Menu and that was only because I stopped one of the staff (the owner I think) from walking past our table... We then Had to wait for someone to come take our order. In Total we waited TWO HOURS! from sitting down to getting our food. I ordered a schnitzel and my wife a pasta dish. After our two hour wait, I was served the worst schnitzel I have had since I moved to Germany 3 years ago! it was as dry as paper and VERY over cooked. I there for left most of it, Due to the fact it took two hours to come and I had to be somewhere else, I had no time to ask for another! While we had our TWO HOUR WAIT we of course finished our drinks (after about half an hour) we were not given the chance to order another drink until our food came. Overall: Terrible TERRIBLE service, VERY bad food and just not a nice place or friendly place to be.
